Boxing is her keyword

The supermodel is obsessed with boxing!

“When time is on my side, I train with my coach for intensive sessions,”

“I run non-stop for 20 minutes followed by a boxing session and finally a series of weights targeting the abs and glutes. We keep the routines varied, so the sessions are always fun.”

…she revealed on Vogue Paris. When her time is limited, she tries to include boxing – based exercises in all of her workouts.

“Definitely boxing. But also Body Ballet, I’ve only tried it out once but I can see the long term results amongst my friends.”

But what about Bella’s rock hard six-pack? She uses …

“nothing other than boxing and a series of targeted ab workouts.”

The muse doesn’t miss to spare also some workout sessions with her older sister, Gigi Hadid, saying:

“She’s a bad-ass, who is strong and sturdy both mentally and physically.”

Dedication & Commitment

Her key to a successful workout as she said Vogue Paris is:

“To put in 100% from the start to the end of a workout.”

The model doesn’t give up when a sweat sesh comes till she finishes her whole exercise schedule:

“There is nothing better than to push yourself to the limit, while making the most of it. Going to the gym for two hours with only 50% motivation is the best way of erasing the feeling of accomplishment and well-being that boosts self-confidence that you get from a workout.”

When big events or runway shows are coming, Bella works out up to 3 hours a day:

“Work hard, play hard”

“I really do like it” … “I wouldn’t say I get out of bed in the morning and I’m ‘I’m going to work out’, but when I get to the gym… rock and roll.”

… she told E!, adding:

“I think that if you just stick to something you can really achieve so much,”

“It’s crazy but I think that you know if you set your mind to something I think you can succeed.”

Regarding Yoga, the diva says:

“I don’t like to do the whole yoga thing” … “I think Yoga is calming, it’s amazing, but if I’m going to go for it, I’m going to go hard.”

Hours and Hours of Working out

Bella loves working out for hours –  at least a couple of hours – speaking to E!

“When I work out, I love to work out,” … “Like, I train and I work out hard for two hours.”

But sometimes, a two – hour workout is not enough! Especially before runway shows, she works out for three hours a day as she actually did before the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, saying to People.

Hadid’s Favorite 25-Minute leg and cardio workout

Sisters Hadid, just like the other Victoria’s Secret Angels, train themselves with Rob Piela, founder of ‘The Ocho System’, trainer at the renowned Gotham Gym in New York City and also the creator of the “25 – minute leg and cardio workout”. Particularly, Bella told People:

“I literally can’t work out with anybody,” … “It has to be me and him. If I am working with other people, I freak out.”

“He’s really the best”

Do you want to copy Bella’s workout?

Piela shared the express workout with SELF:

3 minutes of boxing, and then 1 minute of doing a lot of different leg-focused strength-training moves.”

But if you don’t like boxing or you just can’t find a boxing buddy, he suggests finding other cardio activities like running or skipping rope:

“I’ve always liked jump rope—it’s great for legs—or running if [you prefer],” he said. “You just want to keep your heart rate up the entire time.”

In short, you should complete:

a) 3 minutes of your favorite cardio exercise like boxing, running etc., and
b) 1 minute of strength training (if it takes a little longer, it doesn’t matter).  You can choose from the list:
-Squats — 20 reps
-Donkey Kicks — 12 reps each side
-Plié Squats — 12 reps each side
-Banded Squat Walks — 12 reps each side

Make sure you complete 6 rounds!

Pre & Post – Workout Life

The supermodel follows some pre and post-workout habits to boost the amazing body figure, highlighting on Vogue Paris:

“I count on a smoothie, a juice or a protein drink 30 minutes before the session,”

After the session I eat something full of protein like chicken and wholegrain rice. It’s ideal to strengthen the muscle mass and to increase the effects of the session.”

Going for a stroll after a hardcore workout as well as stretching for 7 to 10 minutes before and after the session are her secrets to…

…“relax and lengthen the muscles as well as to improve the performance.”

“It’s important to keep moving after an intensive session to boost blood circulation and better recover afterwards.”

…she said Vogue Paris.
