We are talking about “Netflix Cheat”! What does that mean?
Do you love watching Netflix with your partner, spending some time together at night after a full demanding day at work/college? Are you insanely waiting all day long to watch the next episode of “La Casa de Papel” before sleep? We think YES! But sometimes your Netflix partner may not have the time to binge-watch an entire season or even an episode on a Tuesday night like you.
So here is the question: “Have you ever secretly watched an episode of the season you are watching with your other half, without him/her being there? If yes, you “Netflix cheat” your other half!
Netflix cheating is a different kind of cheating that is spreading like an epidemic nowadays and –Thank God- we are not talking about a third-person involvement.

What do surveys reveal?
According to recent studies conducted by the streaming giant on 30.000 subscribers, the 46% of couples cheat each other watching next episodes secretly, with the 25% of them to admit that they “Netflix cheat” when their partner is sleeping, while the 28% of streaming couples cheat when one of them is out of town.
So there are chances to have been cheated on, even though you agree to watch together. Numbers don’t lie.
The top offenders in the U.S. cheated while watching “The Walking Dead”, “American Horror Story” and “Orange Is the New Black”. Instead, the Netherlands is considered the country with the most loyal Netflix couples.
The good news…
But the bright side is that 80% of cheaters didn’t plan to cheat, it just happened… Well, a good solution is to try to watch something else, put common movie targets or just prepare the home for the movie night to overcome the desire for cheating – till the other half comes home to watch together.
Good luck!
