Wanna velvet feet for the summer? Well, summer is already here, but you are afraid of wearing your favorite sandals and high heels? Are you applying moisturizing lotion after bathing and exfoliating frequently but your feet are still dry? The truth is that most of us don’t care for our heels in our beauty routine as much as it should or just don’t know how to make them soft and as a result they become cracked and rough. We know the feeling, it’s a nightmare! But we have a solution! Here you can find 5 DIY miraculous homemade masks that you will definitely solve your problem, without spending extra money buying creams. Nature has already predicted to heal you! Let’s check:
1. Beach scrub
Lying down at the beach under the sun, it’s a chance to rub your feet on the fine pebbles of the sandy beach! It is suuuuper effective and we are also addicted to doing so. Your feet will be smooth again like a baby!
2. Oil treatment
Cover your feet with olive oil, we almost all have in our kitchen cabinets, and let it act on your skin. You can also use jojoba or almond oil to seal the moisture. Don’t forget to wear cotton socks before going to bed at night. Why? Because you boost the hydration levels in these dry areas. For an extra hydration boost, you can mix the oil with one ripe mashed avocado, apply and try to keep your socks for at least one hour.
3. Lemon Therapy
- All you will need is one lemon, vaseline, and sugar. First, put your heels in warm water for about 15 minutes and then dry them well with a towel.
- Cut the lemon into two pieces.
- Now apply vaseline on your rough feet and rub them with the lemon. When you see them soften, take little sugar, and srub the area.
4. Banana mask
All you have to do is to mash a ripe banana with a fork and then apply it on your feet. Leave it for about 15-20 minutes to act and then remove it with water. Don’t forget to use your body cream in the end.
5. Licorice mask
For this mask you gonna need black licorice, water, and vaseline. Why? The estrogen-like substances in it will soften the hard skin! Put a few pieces of licorice in the blender and blend until you make a licorice powder. Then put it in a bowl and add a small amount of vaseline and water. Keep stirring until your mixture is homogenized because all we want is to make a liquid mask. When it’s ready apply the mask on your feet, protect them with cling wrap, and leave on for a few minutes. When time-lapses rinse with plenty of water.
