Did you know about the Golden Spice?
Indian women know it better, as for centuries they used to make a secret mask for radiant face one or two days before their marriage using the precious powder of turmeric! It is remarkable to say that turmeric holds a special place in Indian Hindu weddings. It is obvious as the whole ritual before the wedding is named after the golden spice and is called “Haldi Ceremony”. For the record, turmeric is known as Haldi in India, accepted for its beautifying properties as a natural healer, offering significant benefits for body and mind as well.
- Offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiseptic properties
- Boosts collagen production
- Promotes cell regeneration
- Fights acne, pimples and wrinkles expression & aging
- Heals scars
As a result, the miraculous spice beautifies our face skin and turns it healthier, smoother and more glowing than ever before. It helps you look fresh again and rejuvenated without any unwanted redness or acne.
Ingredients of Indians’ mask:
- turmeric powder or fresh turmeric paste
- rose water
- sandalwood powder
The whole process of applying the mask to the bride not only heals the body but offers also purifying properties dressed under a religious character. Inspired by these women we can create an easier mask with simple ingredients we have already at home:
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of yogurt
- 1 teaspoon almond oil or jojoba oil
Take a bowl and mix them all together. Before applying the mixture on your face, you should clean it well. Then you can cover all over your face as well as the area of the neck with the mask. Leave it around 15-20 minutes on your skin and then remove it with warm water and… you just took the golden glow!
You can also remove the mask with gentle scrubbing, splashing cold water in the end to boost your skin’s stimulation.
